About Momentum
• EDUCATION: We offer professional instruction in Dance, Music, Theater, and a day-time Home School program. We also provide after-school enrichment.
• COMMUNITY OUTREACH: MMDA offers classes via the Burien and Tukwila Parks & Rec programs. We also work with local preschools and reach out to our senior community by offering performances at local area senior living residences. We offer public performances several times per year in Burien, Renton, Des Moines, and Seattle.
• ARTS ACCESS SCHOLARSHIPS: MMDA grants full and partial scholarships to individuals who need tuition assistance. In the 2019-2020 academic year, we provided over $24,000 in scholarships.
• YOUTH MENTOR & LEADERSHIP: We offer our teen students opportunities to learn leadership skills and behind-the-scenes management of arts programs.

Our mission is to enrich the human spirit through music, dance, and theatre; inspire with performance and empower by education; and foster creativity, self-esteem, and discipline.
