A proud Momentum 2012 alumni. Born and raised in West Seattle, Ms Robel I come from a big family, and currently live in Normandy Park with my big orange cat, Simba. I work full time as the Bookkeeper at Raisbeck Aviation High School and have been working in the Highline School District on and off for a decade. I of course also work part time at Momentum Dance Academy and have found it to be the most soul-enriching experience of my career. While I danced professionally for some time, teaching has brought me so much joy and fulfilment from witnessing the passion for movement awaken in people ranging from age three to adult. I frequently take yoga and fitness classes in my spare time to keep ideas fresh and ensure that I am challenging my students with new workouts. Another fun fact is that I am the only fully bilingual English/Spanish staff member at Momentum and teach dual language classes as well as provide translation and interpretation services for Spanish.
